Children’s Stories Rooted in Imagination & Adventure

Born on the coast of Maine, Karyn switched oceans and cultures when she moved to Hawaii in 1994. Uprooting from New England, Karyn hopped on a flight to her first teaching job on the island of Oahu.  There she met and fell in love with her husband and island life. Karyn has written three children’s books inspired by her adventures on Oahu. She loves exploring the beaches and trails of Hawaii, coffee with friends, playing the piano, and teaching writing to 7th graders.
